Tell me about your autograph collecting experiences and history. I began collecting autographs in 1962 after attending my first Houston Colt 45's (now the Houston Astros) baseball game. I father purchased a leather-covered autograph book with the Houston 45's logo on the front. We lived in Louisiana and I would only get to come to Houston once or twice a summer to watch the 45's and Astros play. Over time I accumulated about 35 to 40 autographs in the old book, which is now 58 years old. I have famous autographs like Stan Musial, Pete Rose, Tim McCarver, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Warren Spahn and many more.
